TAC19 18" 1100W Passive Subwoofer
Built by us. Right here in Perth. Originally built as a passion project in 2021, we re-built these because the people asked for more!
Unlike subs you can buy at your local Pro Audio Shop, the TAC19 is designed from the ground up to be specifically for outdoor events and doofs.
The enclosure design is a Folded Horn, which means it utilises the acoustic power a horn generates, for low frequencies. Specifically, it is a Tapped Horn type based on the Cubo Sub design.
The subwoofer driver is mounted in such a way that the rear assembly of the driver is in the horn 'mouth'. This enhances the efficiency and effect of the horn, increasing coupling and impedance matching by utilising both sides of the driver.
The result?
A very efficient and accurate low-frequency loudspeaker that not only sounds impressive but looks impressive.
Each BARRETT AUDIO loudspeaker uses SB-Audience drivers.
